The Tap Into More Approach

EFT tapping is a gentle and effective approach to self healing and self work that prioritises your emotional safety. You will always have full control in a session, and be encouraged to work intuitively, in a way that puts the safety of your nervous system first.

​

Tap Into More is a judgement-free and trauma-informed zone, where whatever comes up for you in the safe space we create, is handled with care and empathy.

​

Our sessions will differ from traditional talk therapy, in that we will work with both the mind and the body, and predominantly work to tap into the subconscious.

​

The aim is to facilitate an environment where you're empowered to Tap Into More of whatever it is you want in life, through deeply connecting with the most authentic version of yourself.

Sarah's childhood

(name changed for privacy)

Through a series of heartbreaking experiences in her childhood, Sarah uncovered a belief she had held deep inside for decades, that she was invisible and needed to be invisible, in order to be safe.

By gently accessing the various feelings and memories associated with her childhood experiences with appreciation and empathy for her younger self, Sarah was able to uncover this belief in our second one hour session, release the hold over her that the belief had, and then transform it into a new belief that she is now safe to use her voice and be seen and heard.

At the beginning of the session, Sarah was not able to properly use her voice - it was like something heavy was blocking her throat, and she could only whisper. By the end of the session, Sarah was able to communicate clearly in her normal voice.

​

Sarah told me after her session that she felt "so free and light", and had been holding onto these feelings for decades, never able to open up about them with anyone else, despite trying various other forms of therapy. 

When I checked in the next day, Sarah reported that she had been able to have the best sleep she's had in a long time.

João's knees

João had chronic knee pain that would especially flare up in the colder months. To make matters worse, he had recently injured his knee at the gym, which caused the pain to progress to a deep, sharp pain that made it difficult to walk on. His dad had knee problems, and João would often worry that those problems were hereditary.

During our one hour EFT session, both the chronic low-level knee pain and the recent exaggerated knee pain vanished in real time. That was nearly two years ago, and upon checking in with João, his knee pain has never returned. Not even during the colder months, when it historically would have flared up.

Isabelle's work stress

When Isabelle and I started our first session, she had not been able to get to sleep or sleep properly for several nights. As we delved into her current stressors at work, involving a highly volatile and aggressive colleague, we uncovered a deeper belief that she had been operating from, whereby she felt responsible for managing the emotions of those around her.

​

Through EFT, Isabelle was able to accept, release and reframe this belief into one that was more aligned with her goal of emotional safety and resilience at work.

​

That night, Isabelle had been able to fall straight to sleep and have the best sleep in a long time.

When I checked in a week after our session, Isabelle told me that initially, she had thought that our EFT session worked well at helping her relax and sleep properly, but perhaps that was all. However, upon confronting her stressful work situation and volatile colleague the very next day, she was shocked to find that although the dramatic situation remained the same, she found herself in a different place emotionally and psychologically with it, where she could just see it happening, but not feel affected by it at all.
